This card is for yesterday's CCEE challenge - see their blog here:http://cceestampers.blogspot.com/200...-fishlips.html
Yesterday's TLC was Faux Mosaic. While I was at it, I also made this mosaic piece with shrink plastic tiles.
To make the tiles I tore up a sheet of shrink plastic, and as each piece was shrunk I just pressed a Versamarked seaweed stamp into it. Then I added green alcohol inks to some thinned Glossy Accents and painted them. However it works, more of the colour settles in the stamped parts...Then I stuck them down, and with more Glossy Accents glued the whole card and added microbeads. Alongside of this I also made my stained glass fish. I did stamp a PCS fish, but it would have been hard to cut out of the acetate, so instead I used a peel-off. On the back of the acetate I added Glossy Accents and each glitter, one colour at a time and allowing to dry in between each colour. I used a white gel pen for his eye, and then he's stuck onto a tag. The tag is made from one layer of plain white card, and one layer of embossed acetate, which I coloured from the back with blue alcohol ink. I stuck them together with double-sided adhesive film and added fibres. The base layer is some graduated mulberry tissue, which I stamped with the seaweed stamp.
